When we started LVA 10 years ago, we never imagined the wonderful partners we would meet and the journey we, or this country, would take. We are honored to celebrate our first decade with all of you and excited to share what we’re working on for the next decade as we build upon our efforts to create a just, equitable, and loving world.
Since our first day of service, we aim to deliver high-quality facilitation, planning, and technical support to community and organizational change initiatives. We owe a sincere “Thank You” to each of our clients for engaging the LVA team and for the trust you placed in us to help you achieve your transformational goals. Working alongside you on short- and long-term projects have truly been a privilege. We enjoyed every project and are proud of what was accomplished.
DEEPENING OUR SKILLS FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
Like many of you, we are stunned with the direction our country has taken and the rollback in civil and human rights. However, these injustices only strengthen our passion and commitment to “bend the arc of the moral universe toward justice”!
The first step we've taken over the last decade is to hone our skills in three important areas that we believe will help communities have meaningful conversations about race, class, and disinvestment. As graduates of the Art for Transformational Consulting, the Grove’s Graphic Facilitation and Team Performance, Appreciative Inquiry, and Community Coaching, we are applying facilitation, coaching, and transformational consulting skills to projects that will make a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities.
Achieving social and community transformation will be accomplished when we move the needle on 5 Outcome Areas.
Since 2004, Laura Valles has embraced and continues to believe that achieving social and community transformation will be accomplished when we move the needle on 5 Outcome Areas:
Building on over 20 years of experience conducting outreach, research, and facilitation, Laura Valles & Associates (LVA) has effectively translated its experience to support qualitative research projects in a broad range of fields including early care and education, mental health, economic development and others.
